Opening 2.0 starting May 29th 2020!
From May 29th 2020 we welcome you back to Dachstein 7 (D7), in our nine beautiful accommodations in Gosau in the Salzkammergut. Whether vacation, incentive, event or conference - At the foot of the imposing Dachstein you will experience our seven truths.
Because of the Corona crisis, we had to close just 38 days after our opening. But now we can finally start on May 29th. We are very much looking forward to it and hope that the European borders will open shortly.
We have taken a number of precautions to protect you against the virus so that you can enjoy your vacation with ease.

PS: Of course we also have protective masks for you in case you are in need of one and disinfectant spray.
Off-sites, events, workshops or incentives – You can have the whole house for yourself
Taking it all in. Whether as a company, family, circle of friends: Sometimes you need real space. Here it is. On request you can occupy the entire Dachstein 7 for yourself. Or of course you can book several accomodations together.
The Q1 Plankenstein will then be prepared as the main room. Up to 14 people can sit together at one large table. If you like, your personal cook will take care of your well-being. There are 28 beds available in the whole house. If you move closer together and also use the sofa beds, you can accommodate up to 44 people in Dachstein 7.

It is our main goal that you as our guests feel completely comfortable and cared for and can enjoy your time in the Salzkammergut. You can look forward to a lot:
Our welcome basket with all sorts of delicacies from the Salzkammergut awaits you on the day of your arrival. Oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, honey and a few coffee capsules are provided. Not to forget our homemade alpine herb tea.
We have our own bread service! Fresh and delicious buns are delivered daily from the Andexlinger in Abtenau directly to the house, with the exception of Sundays and public holidays. Just fill out the form and send it to us: https://www.dachstein7.com/broetchenservice?lang=en.
Various types of cheese and butter from the Animos farm in Gosau as well as soft drinks, beer and wine await you in our shared fridge. You will also find the incredibly delicious eggs from the happy chickens of the Schmiedsipplhof in Gosau, many of whom even have 2 egg yolks. We sell them in a pack of 6 to you at cost price.
And last but not least: We also offer a shopping service for you. You can send us a wish list a few days before your arrival and we will refill your fridge so that everything is ready when you arrive. We are happy to take over the shopping for you during your stay, which we will then charge on site. If you want to go picnicking, we will also take care of a picnic basket or backpack for your trip.
Gosau in the Inner Salzkammergut
Gosau lies at the southernmost point of Upper Austria in the Inner Salzkammergut. At the end of the valley, the Gosaukamm mountain range rises. Created millions of years ago as a coral reef, it is now a popular area for hiking and climbing enthusiasts.
But not only the Gosaukamm offers a variety of hiking routes. The surrounding peaks and pastures are also fantastic. A true natural jewel is the Löckernsee high moor, a small moor lake surrounded by pines and numerous alpine grasses.

Well-paved hiking trails, breathtaking panoramic views and, of course, typical Austrian delicacies are not to be missed in the alpine “Hütten”, so that you can make your way back to Dachstein 7 strengthened.
